Just a quick reminder, before you post too much it'd be a good idea to take a gander at the rules and FAQ section of our site just so you can get better acclimated with how things are around here. Like most places on the internet, we have our own set of guidelines when it comes to posting and being a My Little Pony site, a lot of things are not allowed. If you're new to posting in forums in general, one of our users, Gabachi, posted an interesting beginners guide to forum posting that may help if you're confused by how to conduct yourself on a public forum. Spoiler: The Radio! First and foremost, we have the radio right here. The Brony community is known for having many different artists who put together some pretty amazing tracks, and there you can listen to just about any of them on either our Shoutcast radio, or our Livestream radio. The Shoutcast radio, which can be identified by the medium sized black bar that looks a little something like this: Shoutcast better audio quality and a far larger music selection than that of the Livestream radio, but lacks the visual aspect Livestream does. The Livestream radio, which can be identified by the box that essentially just looks like a youtube video looks a little something like this: Livestream has a screen it uses to display the videos it plays allowing it to play animations like Ponies: The Anthology or Poniator animations, but on the downside it has lower audio quality and a smaller song archive. Periodically, one of our DJs will log into either Shoutcast or Livestream to take song requests. If there's a song you want to hear played, be sure to type it out in the chat so as to notify them. The generally accepted format goes as follows: With the request underlined: [Artist Name] - [Song Name] This helps our DJs distinguish song requests from the rest of the messages and ensure that the song that you want to hear gets played. As of now, the DJs for the radio are: BlazingDawn Flutteryshy SoulEmber Every DJ has moderator powers on the Livestream radio and it's their duty to make sure it stays civil at all times. Keep in mind please, that these roles are subject to change in the future. The next thing on the list is, well, the forum in general. There are a lot of sections here, but the thing I'll introduce you to is the staff behind the site itself as that's rather important. Spoiler: Meet The Staff Administrators- Eight Star- Forum Administrator- It's essentially Eight's job to keep an eye on the forums and make sure it's all good all the time. If you have any complaints about the general order of things, and you see him lounging in the chat, feel free to chop it up with him! He won't bite you for it. Tyro- Technical Administrator- This guy works under the hood to ensure that the site is running in tip top condition. If you have a technical problem don't be afraid to shoot him a PM. Fulcrum - All Around Admin - Handles minor code and technical questions. Also handles forum tasks when Eight isn't around. Forum Moderators- A moderator who sees over the forum in general. They ensure the rules are followed and discussion remains civil at all times. If you have any problems with a staff member or another member, shoot them a message and they'll sort it out for you. DoDo1234 Dragonbait Flutteryshy EPN Chat Moderators- These guys are here to maintain order in the EPN chat. NOTE: ALL EP STAFF CAN MODERATE THE CHAT Jhera Rexhyuga Starlight Goya Radio Staff Every DJ has moderator powers on the Livestream radio and, it's their duty to make sure it stays civil at all times. They can also take song requests when logged into the Shoutcast or Livestream. SoulEmber FanFic Moderator- This guy right here is in charge of reading over any fanfics submitted to ensure they're up to the guidelines set forth. Quill Inkwell RP Forum Moderators- These two oversee the RP section of the forums and ensure everybody over there has fun. Elunna Legion Spoiler: Everypony Theatre With that hefty bit out of the way, take a gander at the RP section of the forums. Spoiler: Spoiler in a spoiler?! MADNESS. (Picture) This section of the forums is reserved for those who like to use their imagination a toy of sorts. Here you can take the role of a character of your choosing, either pre-made and from the show or of your own creation, and go through various adventures with THE POWER OF YOUR MIND!. Spoiler: Everypony Blogs The site even has a place where you express yourself freely in the form of a personal blog. Users can subscribe to certain blogs and also comment on others. It's a great way to share and discuss ideas of yours. Spoiler: Spoiler in a spoiler! YOLO! Spoiler: EPN Chat Here you can find the general chat for as it implies: general discussion. This is a place where anybody can just sit back and relax and riff raff with their pal. Spoiler: Picture On the right side you can see who's who. Red signifies admin, purple a mod, and anything else is a user. In conjunction with the EPN General Chat, it also comes paired with a Roleplay chat.
