Abel was in the planning room, writing in a notebook when she returned. His head was resting on his hand and he glanced up at the door opening.
"Not a ton," she said sheepishly. "I wasn't quite sure what you liked, and I didn't want to spend too much, so I got a little of everything." She began leafing through the bags. "Some bread, tomatoes, soup ingredients, cereal..." She paused before pulling out an individually package cupcake. "And this! For you!"
"Yes," she said, setting it down as she emptied out the rest of the bags, putting away the groceries. "Like I said, I didn't know what you liked."
He shook his head, continuing. "No, I'm fine with it. I wasn't expecting it. I haven't really had one."
