The building blew up with the explosives rather spectacularly, the flames bursting into the air as smoke began to rise.
She looked at him embarrassedly, swiping at her eyes quickly. “Nothing, I just... I wish you were here.”
She sniffled a little, shaking her head. “No, you’re not. At least, not in the same way. It’s fine, let’s just... let’s just go home.”
She sighed a little, resting her head back. "I can tell you about a day in our life, if you'd like," she said quietly. "It's not very exciting, but it might jog your memory."
She stared off across the city, crossing her arms protectively. "You and I have known each other for about four months, but we've only been together for one. We wake up at around the same time, either in your bed or in mine. I think we've only slept separately once since you told me..." She paused before moving on quickly. "You're super quiet in the mornings, but you always pull me over to you. That's generally how I can tell when you're awake."
