"Good," he said, standing up. "I was thinking of finding a new place to stay. "I usually like to stay off the grid, so it'll take some work to set up power and water."
He frowned. "I had a few places I could use before I lived in my old place. I'm not sure if they all available still, but I'll have to look."
She ran her fingers through her dark hair that fell around her shoulders, considering him for a moment. “Well... I’m going to go find a place to shower and then I’ll be back and we can go check them out. Does that sound good?”
He kissed her cheek. "Why don't I start looking while you shower? I'll be back once I find a good one."
He stood up, grabbing two earpieces and giving one to her, kissing her cheek. "Of course. Will I get to hear you sing in the shower?" he teased.
“You wish,” she shot back, putting in the earpiece. “You’ll hear soap sounds and that’s it. My singing is reserved for special circumstances.” She paused before smirking at him. “The soap sounds will be hot, though. Probably.”
He laughed with a small flush. "Yeah? I have no doubt. Okay. I'll see you soon, alright? I love you."
She gave him a small grin before tucking her clothes under her arm and leaving. “Whereabouts are the places you’re looking at?” she asked him as she walked, climbing down a drainpipe.
He would hear her laugh breathlessly followed by a small grunt as she jumped. “Yes, darling, but I was stinky.”
She glanced back at him. "God, could you quit following me?" she teased. "You're not going to get into the shower with me."
