He nodded. "Right. Let's head back and I'll show you on the map."
She gave him a small, playful smile. "Sounds good."
He looked ahead, going back towards the 1st floor.
She followed, humming under her breath.
He was quiet. Eventually the made it out of the store and were back on their way to the house.
"So... am I going to get that backstory now?"
He looked over at her. "Still? No."
"Please? Come on, Abel. Just a little."
"There's nothing interesting about it," he said flatly.
"Well, work with me here. Where were you born?"
He huffed. "In this country."
"C'mon, Abel," she said with a playful grin. "Give me something."
He frowned at her. "No."
"Please? I'll tell you about me."
He shook his head. "Not today."
She sighed good-naturedly, rolling her eyes. "Fine."
"Maybe another time," he said. "Maybe."
"You can't give me one fact? What's your favorite... I don't know. Drink?"
He looked thoughtful. "Hm.. I like blue gatorade."
She laughed out loud, looking over at him. "I was thinking of alcoholic drinks, but okay."
