(Zoop!) She put her hands on her hips, looking at the setting sun and trying to catch her breath as she walked along the edge of the rooftop, her brow furrowed in irritation.
Atop one of the rooftops, there was a small ground of people, maybe early twenties. They were smoking and chatting. One looked up, raising an eyebrow. "What are you doing up here?"
She glanced over at them idly before gesturing to the skyline, not concerned yet. Many people were confused to see her running, but rarely angry and more intrigued. "Enjoying the view," she replied flatly.
She raised an eyebrow, glancing over at them, her expression unamused. "Hm. What about you? Aren't you a little young to be smoking? I thought the legal age was 18."
She tilted her head, narrowing her eyes. "Oh, I'm really funny," she replied quietly. "But I'm also really not in the mood to babysit."
"Yeah, you'll think of how funny it is when we're done," he said with a malicious smirk, reaching out to grab her.
It happened almost in a blink of an eye. She kicked his side, and when he bent, she grabbed his head and shoved her knee into his mouth, pushing him back.
He reached up in surprise, his face a bit bloodied. The others stood up and approached as well, looking upset. The one on the floor stood up shakily. "You *squee!*ing *squee!*."
She tilted her head, her brow furrowed as she clicked her tongue disapprovingly. "Oh, sweetheart. What would your mother say? Smoking and cursing at strangers?"
He spat blood at her feet, his gaze sharp the others quickly moved towards her going to restrain her.
Her gaze flickered between the four of them and she paused for a moment before dropping, falling away from the first one's hands and sticking out one leg, sweeping it out from under them. As they stumbled, she pushed herself up with her other leg and her foot landed squarely in his chest, sending him back and knocking over both her target and the one right behind her in the process. Within an instant, she turned to the other two, elbowing one in the jaw before extending her arm and pulling the collar of their shirt over their head, momentarily blinding them. Again, with a quick action, she swept a leg out, making the person stumble over the edge and fall down, although she knew that he would have landed on the terrace one story below. She turned to the final individual and without missing a beat, sprinted over to give herself some momentum before lifting her leg in a circle and executing a roundhouse kick in a way that would make a martial artist proud. As the final person fell, she turned to their leader and tilted her head, her expression deadly. "I'm not in the *squee!*ing mood."
She raised one eyebrow before reaching down and taking one of the cigarettes from the ground, its embers still burning weakly. She glanced down at one of the people at her feet and dropped it, the heat hitting their skin before she turned to leave, heading out.
Abel had gotten up at the sound of the door and was looking out of the room, maybe a little worriedly. "You're back."
