(Zoop!) She returned several hours later, her dark hair loose from her braid and her expression frustrated.
He frowned. "I was thinking. Of course we can go all we can to steer the people in the right direction, but.. I don't know if I'll be able to take them down myself.'
He shook his head. "I'm just worried. What if there's more than I planned? Or.. I don't know. Things i didn't take into consideration."
She frowned, studying him before reaching over and taking his hand gently. "Abes, you've been planning this forever. I highly doubt you haven't thought things through."
She hesitated, studying him intensely before suddenly withdrawing her hand. "What's brought all this on?"
He looked down at his own hands. "I've gotten this far," he said. "I'm afraid. What else can I do after this factory business besides killing the people I know to be the enemy?'
She sighed, looking at him, her face conflicted. After a moment, she reached out again, taking his fists in her hands and coaxing them open, her fingers rubbing his knuckles to loosen them. She didn't look at him, instead focusing on her task. "I'm serious, Abes. Your work isn't your life, you know? I know it's scary, but your life isn't confined to this."
"And you'll finish it," she said. "You will. You're good enough, you know? You've worked hard enough. You'll achieve your goals."
