"Don't apologize," she hastened to say, her brows furrowing. "It's fine, I just... are you okay? What happened?"
"I'm fine," he said, resting against the door frame. "I'm not as good at roof hopping as you are, is all."
She laughed lightly, looking down at the floor. "You barely seen me roof-running. I'm not that good."
He crossed his arms, passing by her to go to the kitchen. It would be hard to notice, but it seemed he was concealing a limp, as if walking it off.
She tilted her head. "Will you be honest with me?" she asked after a moment. "I know you don't owe me anything. But I think that this whole thing would be a lot more productive if we were just honest with each other."
