Max hugged back, patting Jay on the back gently. "It's okay," She said, softly, trying to reassure the young mare. "Do you want to sleep with us tonight?" She offered, wanting to help her feel better.
she held her tighter and nodded jay didnt want to talk to max....but...she had a really bad dream and wanted the comfort
"Okay," Max said, quietly, and guided her back to the bed, lying down with her and holding her close.
A little while later, Max fell asleep too, cuddling Jay happily. She may not of been talking to her, but at least Jay didn't hate her the way she feared she might.
When max wakes up she'll see jay still cuddling her and ace sitting up watching them with a smile He then slowly shakes his head, not seeing max wake up, nod then gets out of bed and goes to the bathroom
Max woke up still holding Jay, and was confused for a second until she remembered what had happened the night before. She smiled and stroked the young mare's mane, then kissed her forehead. "Hey," She said, gently rocking her to see if she was awake.
Max smiled and continued to cuddle her, nuzzling her mane a little. She looked so sweet when she slept... A moment later, Max looked about, and realised Ace wasn't in bed. She frowned, but then heard sounds from the bathroom.
ace smiled at her and walked to her before kissing her neck and nuzzling her chin "morning" he whispered
"This is okay, isn't it?" Max asked, nodding to the sleeping Jay. "I think she must have been having nightmares..." She made a concerned face, and rubbed Jay's shoulder comfortingly.
"Max....you got ten or more years on her....it's fine" ace said thinking the looked more like a mother and her foal not a mare and a mare
Max made an exaggeratedly offended face at him. "Hey! I'm not that old!" She looked at the young mare again. "Ten years at most." She looked back at Ace and smiled. "But still, thank you~" She gave him a kiss, then wrapped his hooves around her as she closed her eyes again and continued to hold Jay protectively. For the first time since she was a foal, she almost felt she was part of a family...
Jay mumbled something in her sleep that sounded like mom but it was hard to tell Ace smiled and kissed both they're foreheads before putting on his pants and shirt
"I'm going to stay with her until she wakes up," Max said, stroking Jay's mane gently, and smiling at Ace's kiss. "But if you want to get things ready for our trip, I don't mind. We can have breakfast together once she's awake." She said, before kissing his cheek.
