Max kicked away from him in shock, and sat against the wall, rubbing her throat. Stupid! She thought to herself, Surprising somepony with recent mental trauma! You know they can be unpredictable! "I-It's okay..." She said, hesitantly.
"i...i dont know....i dont even remember what i was dreaming" he said ace felt bad and he showed it on his face "im sorry" he said again
"It's not your fault... Not really," Max said, walking over to him again. "This is why I want to find a hospital though..."
"So; find supplies, do target practice, explore creepy town ruins. That's the plan, right?" Max asked, as Ace packed up his stuff.
"ya, that seams to be the plan" he said as he started to move the wardrobe and aimed his gun at the door encase something was out there
The coast was clear, and they moved outside without resistance. It would seem the timberwolves only hunted by night... "I guess we should check these houses for food and medical equipment," Max said, looking around. Her medical magic was strong, but sometimes even she had to rely on the hooves-on approach.
"Huh? Oh... yeah, I guess you're right..." She hadn't even thought about that; the bombs would have poisoned most water supplies for sure... She moved to the next house and tried the door. This time it was locked.
ace walked up and smiled "remember how you wanted some tips, lets stand back and you shoot the door handle off" he said starting to walk backwards
"Oh, Okay..." Max said, nodding. She pulled out her pistol, remembering to pull back the slide this time, and tried to enter V.A.T.S, but unfortunately her Pipbuck refused to accept the door handle as a target. She sighed. Guess I'm going to have to do this by myself, She thought. She lined the sights up with the handle, then closed her eyes as she jerked the trigger.
the bullet swung right cause she closed her eyes "that was good but you need to keep you eyes open" he said getting closer to her
"Oh, um... alright," Max tried again, managing to keep her eyes open, but pulling the barrel high as she jerked the trigger sharply.
Max nodded, and focused, forming a stronger telekinetic grip on the pistol. She got the handle in her sights, held the gun tightly, and kept her eyes open, and when she pulled the trigger, the lock mechanism on the door exploded in a shower of tiny parts.
"there you go" he said smiling and turning his head to her his cheeks turned red and he stepped back as he realized he had gotten really close to her
"Wow, that's much better! Thanks!" Max said, happily. She leaned towards him and kissed his cheek, before happily walking into the house, keeping her gun ready, in case it wasn't completely abandoned...
