Nightmare Glitch responded to Levi, "You have no idea how wrong you are, you foal." Levi was surrounded by the living part of the Nightmare Army. "Any false moves, and they will be your last," said one of the soldiers. Nightmare Spectra replied to Silent, "Excellent. The alicorn brat is surrounded. We'll handle him and his friends soon enough." Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
(Levi) *casts a light shield around me and the control stave* *casts a shockwave spell to repel the nightmare forces*
"Understood." He said as he disconnected and looked at his demon soldier "Gerek...can you help our living battle buddies?" he nodded and ran in the direction of the brown alicorn.
Killjoy had been hearing her favorite place shriek with terror earlier. She growled, hackles raising, and wailed quite suddenly, "Equestria shall not fall." She stalked her way towards Ponyville. Her paws silent against the green floor.
Tom the crow circles the now destroyed small town and he see's a small brown dot moving towards the town, he dived straight to the thing and Landex right next to it "Good evening." He said walking next to the brown thing.
BladeRunner had been hiding behind a large pillar ever since the fight had unfolded. He wasn't scared, he was trying not to die. Blade swiftly used a camouflage magic to cover his whole body, noise that he made, and to cover his life force as well, somewhat like the stealth fighters back at the base in Nevada (In the human world). It will only last for three hours, but three hours were enough. BladeRunner checked the battlefield and evaluated the amount of lost energy, "Damn, with that power, anyone would be invincible," He was most surprised with how much damage there were, there wasn't much of it. He snuck around for a while, truing to figure what was going on...
Tom chuckled and said "Forgive me if I startled you but I am in the search of a dog. Maybe perhaps you can help me beautiful."
Soir had ascended the Nightmare Tower, to stare the Nightmares directly in the eyes. "We meet again. I won't back out this time." Soir planted another Modification Stave, and 4 Conduit Staves around him. The Conduit Staves absorbed Magic Power from the Holy Shine, and pumped it into Soir. "Your atrocities against ponykind will not stand. I will slay you. Posthaste." Soir had now taken in more energy than his body could hold, so excess energy was pumped into a light blue cloud-like aura around him. Loose stones and pebbles were picked up by this cloud. He put a massive amount of energy into the modification stave. A extremely complex magic circle appeared below it. "All evil that the light from this spell touches is immediately slain. However, as you know, having this much magic energy in a small space is dangerous. That's why, I am doing this!" The magic circle expanded to encompass Cloudsdale. "I'll take Cloudsdale with me if I have too." Soir only had one chance at this. The spell he would cast, known by many names, but most commonly known as Harmonic Light, could only be cast by the pure of heart. One small negative thought would cause the spell to fail, and the caster to fall to darkness, and if the casting was interrupted, the magic would attempt to compensate for the imbalance of light and dark, by destroying the area the circle encompasses. "Here I go! Harmonic Light!" Soir had managed to clear his thoughts for now, but if something were to come up, there would be a possibility that the spell could fail.
Mage lowered his swords. For the moment at least. Nothing was really happening. The pony that was with him to guard the main entrance to Canterlot, which was just another fellow student of the school Mage went to, began to talk to him. "Weird don't you think? They scatter everypony to guard the city due to this insanity that's going on, yet, it seems like the enemies aren't even trying to attack this place even though there aren't any princesses here at the moment" queried the pony "Please don't say that. You might jinx it" remarked Mage. The pony he was talking to stiffened up for a moment. "Whoops. Sorry about that..." responded the pony as it rubbed the back of its head and mane with its left hoof. "It's fine. You're right though. But... at the same time... it almost seems like... 'the calm before the storm' you know?" stated Mage. The pony he was talking to nodded in agreement. "Yeah..." answered the pony, the pony then gulped. Their guard was down, but, they were still saying vigilant and keeping an eye out for anything suspicious that were to approach Canterlot.
"And why should I help you?" She looked at him suspiciously. "You could be evil. I could easily kill you right now, but im not. Probably because an explanation is at hand."
"You are correct my canie beauty, for I good lady am not evil but my owner and master is a necromancer that gets his thrills from raising the dead and making deals with demons. If I were him I would cut all tides to dark magic and commit my life to an ordinary life." Tom explained with sadness in his voice.
"Hm. Sad." She said with no empathy what so ever, her tail flicked and she stopped looking threatening, "What exactly do you need help with...?" She asked slowly, as if timing her words.
"Well my dear I simply wish to abandon my life of servatude but to do that I need a simply help to um...how you say realease from my eternal bonds. to clarify I was a normal dog like you, well more likely a wolf but the necromancer didn't want a wolf and you can probably guess what he changed me into." he said spreading his black wings.
"Easy with the tongue, I will gladly help you. Under two conditions, you have to help me help you, and not murder when we succeed. WHEN, not if. Now. Do you know how to do this bird-with-an-unknown-name?" She spoke questioningly, teasing him. "Also, is your 'friend' the one who destroyed the nearby town?" She shoved her ears forward and raised her tail. An act of dominance in wolf language.
"My dear, I never murdered anyone except thiefs and cutthroats who dared enter the Everfree, Also my name is Tom and yes the necromancer destroyed it and encamped his undead forces their to plan their invasion of Canterlot." Tom smirked and landed on her head.
"Im Killjoy. So.... Whats the plan?" Killjoy anxiously flicked her tail, awaiting his words. Vengeance had always been one of favorite things, especially when necessary.
"It's simple love, we need to infiltrate the Nightmare encampment, steal the journal of the invasion plans for Canterlot and give it to whoever is in charge." He said excitedly as he finally was going on an action mission.
Killjoy groaned, "that's easy for you too say. You're trusted to them. They will very likely kill me if I show up. Plus, you seem awfully excited?" She spoke as she stroked her chin, planning ahead.
"well my beautiful canine companion, the reason I'm excited is that I was usually sent on boring errands and message delivering when a bleeding courier colud do the same, truth be told I've never went on a action mission before, especially not with a canine such as yourself." he replied back as he began rustling his feathers.
