Mage waited for the two to be far enough away... then... "Hey... can you do me a favor?" asked Mage to the pony next to him. Apparently, the pony next to him already knew what he was going to say. "Go ahead. I'll hold the line here. If anything comes up, I'll contact you telepathically." assured the pony next to him. Mage just smiled and nodded his appreciation to the pony that was guarding the entrance with him. Then... Mage was off. He trotted a little bit until he saw the dog/pony/thing and the talking bird in view. He then hid behind a nearby building and began to keep an eye on them. "I'm probably being paranoid, but, I suppose it's better to be safe then sorry" thought Mage. Mage was trailing the dog/pony/thing and the talking bird that just entered Canterlot. "Hey, Do you get the sense we're being followed?" Tom asked as he looked behind him to see nothing, so he turned his head back forward.
Dark sits in the prison, groaning. He didn't want to die from that... What was the word... Necromancer...
"Cant tell. I still have the scent of ancient in my nose. Blegh, smells like old people." She said, thinking it was skeptical that anyone was following them. Though it give her chills thinking about it.
Mage hid behind the building. It seemed one of them was thinking they were being followed. He decided to stay there until he heard the hoofsteps of the dog/pony/thing moving again before he would peek out from his hiding spot again.
Tom sighed and replied "Of course it smells old. the word 'Ancient' means 'old' as in not new or fresh." he slapped his face with his wing and though 'As beautiful she is; she's not very smart.'
Killjoy flattened her ears, "Well look at Celestia, technically you just called her un-fresh." She laughed. "Oh well, three cheers for sweet revenge. Hey, isn't that the place?" She pointed a store with the name he mentioned.
"Yep, also a bit of advice. When you meet him don't make eye contact with him." he said with a hint of fear and a shiver was sent down his spine.
"Tom has a point" Azure walked up to the two and looked at them both "I recommend not even looking at him"
Mage heard another voice. A new voice. "What the?! I didn't even hear this pony approach!! Am I really not being that attentive?!" thought Mage. Mage slowly peeked his head out from behind the building to see who this new pony was... He now began to keep an eye on the now group of three ponies...
Azure then turned toward the building Mage was hiding behind and she turned back toward the other two ponies "I'm just gonna check something" and she trotted towards Mage who was behind the building and spotted him "you know it's not nice to eavesdrop on ponies Mage,that's not very nice" she stood in front of Mage with a confident face
^^^((You're not the only one freaked out by this... :crazy) "What... Who are... How did... How do you even know my name?! Let alone who I am?!" spat-out Mage. Mage was so flustered that he ended up speaking loud enough that the talking bird and the dog/pony/thing would probably be able to hear him as well, pretty much breaking his so-called "cover" of trying to follow/spy on them without being known/found.
Kill spun around, she growled, "Hey! Its you! Have you been following us?" She looked at Azure, "And you... Who are you and how do you know what were doing?"
"Just go to your happy place." Tom repeated to himself as he concintrated to go to his 'Happy place'.
Azure stared down Mage "you're talking to a master of black magic.i could rip you apart and you wouldn't even know what happened so how about you leave before I DO rip you apart." Her confident face became one of ferocity "I'm not joking.leave now you have no business with these people." she walked up to Mage so they were face to face
Soir drew a magic circle with the blood pouring out of his leg. He used a simply earth magic spell to lock himself in place, then activated the magic circle. Golden flames erupted from the circle, causing him tremendous pain. He persevered, until the flames were extinguished. The wounds were gone, but the pain was much worse. He made his way to Canterlot to fortify the defenses.
(Sorry for not posting in a while. I hope it will have been worth the wait. :3) Nightmare Spectra and Glitch looked out over Equestria, wondering what to take next... "You know, my dear," said Nightmare Glitch, "It's tatically prudent, at this point, to take Manehatten for ourselves. The city is the most populated in Equestria, and if it bends to our will, others will be easier to capture." "Yes," replied Nightmare Spectra, "And while everypony fortifies Canterlot, their brethren in Manehatten will shatter under our hooves! Oh, you, my love, are the perfect strategist!" "I do what I can to help you, my dear." "Good. I'll prepare the Army for deployment to Manehatten." "Very well, my lady." And so the Nightmare Army concentrated all of its might upon Manehatten.
