Darky quickly put the blade in the sheath and it started glowing, then there was a flash and the hilt of the sword was added to the blade. The small jewel moved from the sheath to the sword. "We are ready now. Let´s go." he said looking at the sword with a smile.
Lightning was leading his forces against another wave of forces, but they were clearly winning. "Don't let them take the palace!" he was yelling to the soldiers as well as some other orders to them.
Lunis flew into the sky and raised the moon to block the sun and cause a solar eclipse allowing his massive army of shadow ponies to travel to the country and attack the enemy from behind.
Lightning looked up and saw Lunis and Darky "Yah!" he yelled as soon as he saw them. "Now, go! Don't let them escape." he said to the soldiers as the started to move against the creatures. After a while, they were defeated by both armies.
"I'm very thankful for your help, again." He said with a grin, he then looked at Darky. "BROTHER!" he said in a burst of happiness and hugged him. "L-Lightning..." he said as he hugged him back. "It's been a while."
After a moment they separated. "So, how have you been over there. Hope Nightmare hadn't done anything bad to you, or else..." he said a little angry. "D-don't worry, things are way too better than you think, is just that it is... hard to explain." Darky said a little nervous.
"Oh well, nothing to loose." Darky said, he then took a deep breath "Well, I almost died two times, I participated in at least two battles, I have constant visions of Luna and Nightmare Moon is in love with me." He explained to him. "W-WHAT?" Lightning was completely astonished, he didn't knew what else to say.
Lightning started breath slowly, trying to relax. "W-well, I kind of understand most of it, but Nightmare in love with you?! I- I just can't believe it." He said
"I know that, yet, they are quite different. I mean, I never expected of her to be able to really love somepony." Lightning replied
"Well all ponies have evil opposites. These opposites can feel anything the pony feels. And i'm the only pony who has total control over his evil opposite." Lunis states
"That... makes sense." He finally said. "Anyways, did you got the sword?" He asked Darky. "Yes, i have it here." He said as he showed it to Lightning.
"Yeah, let's go!" Darky said exited. "Where is the creature?" he asked his brother "From the report I heard, he came from the west, in the Water kingdom." he replied
