The battle was a bit more interesting since they were more in equal terms. The first wave of fighters went back to re-arm, then were launched again to join the fight.
"Worth giving a shot!" Darky said as the fighters went to intercept them. The carriers launched another small amount of foghters armed with missiles and went towards the carriwrs to take them down. They were flying at high altituded to be far from the AA guns and escorted by a squad of fighters.
A squad of 100 Jets turned and began firing ant the missle planes as they divided to take care of the escorts. 50 Chinook helicopters came in escorted by 150 fighters and the split up some heading for lunis' fleet carrying supplies and the rest carrying boarding crews. While his cruisers remained behind the island.
Even though the escort was down, the fighters managed to get in range of the carriers and launched the missiles against them, then attacked them as dive bombers sending everything they had to take them down, managing to sink 4 of the carriers, but at that point, it would he almost omposivle for them to come back... Darly noticed the helicopters and the destroyers staryed attacking them with their AA guns, as the crew got ready to fight.
The fighters launched their missiles and destroyed the A-A guns and the helicopters landed on the BCs
Shots could be seen from the BCs as the crew started fighting the bording teams. As one of them was being captured, Darky ordered the remaining crew to sabotage the BC to make it un-usable. The crew did what it was told and the BC was no longer able to fight, as it slowly started to sink. Darky didn't liked the idea, but it had to be done. The carriers launched the last wave of fighters to take down the helicopters, managing to take down almost half of them.
The jets replied as lunais had aircraft that were already dieing aim at Darky's carriers and Flagship and the puilots bail. He sank the remaining carriers AND Darky's ship leaving the fleet without there Flagship and commander.
The screens went off and the simulation ended. Darky sighed as he saw he lost both battles. "Damn it..." he said to himself. Luna looked at him and hugged him, making him feel better. He just hughed her back and sat where he was, still hugging her.
Lunis came in and said "This was a test to see if you considered Retreat as an option when out-numbed and out-gunned"
"I was considering it..." Darky said. "But I saw a chance, so I took advantage of it. It didn't went as I expected"
"See never take chances I knew victory was achievable and i won with only 20 casualties all assualt teams. YDo you know what your biggest mistake was?" Lunis said
"You let the carriers escape with some ships that could come in fresh. Also your planes would never be able to beat the jets so if you toke out the carriers you may have won."
Luna giggled a little and booped Lunis "Boop!" She said happily. Darky laughed a bit after she did that.
