"Let's begin, Dark are you ready?" Snow asked. Dark nodded, "Let's get this thing out of me." Snow concentrated, and her horn and Dark was surrounded by a white aura. Soon, they saw this first little bits of Black Night being ripped from Dark, until finally, two distinct ponies were floating. Snow dropped them both to the ground, and Black Night was first up, "Well if it isn't the fools who opposed me before!" she said, before launching a concussion spell so powerful that it ripped apart the shields and flung everypony back into the forest, "DAMN IT, SHE'S GOTTEN MORE POWERFUL!" Snow yelled, wincing as she got up.
Silver Shield winced as his shield shattered, not really from the concussion spell, but mostly on account of the fact that he had been distracted by the bizarre sight of the two ponies being separated. He flew backwards, fortunately landing on a soft bush. He got back up and , true to his name, reformed his barrier in less than a second, and this time he wasn't distracted. Even if he could still only take a few of Black's powerful blows, that would likely buy the others somewhere around 20 seconds in a situation where seconds were crucial.
Snow and Dark quickly found each other for they knew what they had to do. A bright flash of light, and Snow Light emerged from the forest, "Black Night, my old foe, we met once more!" she said. Black Night turned from her burnin of the forest, "Well hello to you to Snow Light, care for a light!" and Black Night shot a stream of fire at Snow Light, who barely had enough time to counter it, "You've gotten smarter and more powerful, it will still not be enough." Snow Light's horn began to glow an incredibly bright white and blue. Black Night, seeing what she was doing, copied, and then the two's bodies seemingly fell apart, revealing the pure essence of the two (As they were both masters of the mysterious and powerful essence magic form) and the massive battle soon ensued, with massive tentacles of powerful magic swinging at each other, destroying everything unlucky enough to get in the way.
After slamming back-first into a nearby tree, Kleft was left laying mangled on the ground. He tried to get up, but his left-foreleg gave way and he collapsed again. 'It's broken!' He thought. 'It might be worse, though. I can't feel any pain!' He looked back towards the battle occurring. 'Damn it! She always makes me feel useless!' Kleft thought a moment, and came up with an option. "Snow Light!" He called into the battlefield. "Take this! It's not much, but it could be all the difference needed!" He summoned up what energy he had and flung it across the field to Snow. He wasn't awake long enough to see the outcome, for the moment his energy left him, he passed out.
When the strange object hit Snow Light's essence, it distracted her just long enough for Black night to slam right into her, knocking her down, and she reverted back to her old self. As Black Night's essence stood triumphly over Snow Light, she returned to her normal self, "Looks like chaos has finally out powered balance." she whispered into the apparently unconscious Snow light's ear. "No, not yet." she responded, and her horn glee extremely bright, and Snow light was sucked into Black Night's mind. After stumbling a bit, Black Night suddenly recovered, but seemed almost distracted and distant, as if the main battle was being waged in her mind, as it was. (Still doesn't mean she's any less of a threat)
After being knocked back, Lightning slowly recovered and got back up. Her head was pounding and she hardly knew what was going on. Her vision soon began to get blurry and she passed out.
(Inside Black's mind) The black plane of Black night's mind was exactly how you would think it would be, dark, bloody, and very scary. Snow light looked around, "Black Night, show yourself!" a evil laughed filled the air, "Oh Snow Light, did you really think you can beat me inside my own mind, ha! But if you insist, I shall answer your challenge." (Outside Black's mind) Black Night walked up to Silver's shield, and fired a massive black beam at it, that only took seconds to shatter the shield. Black Night grabbed and picked up Silver, "You made a big mistake for being here, so prepare to die." She threw Silver against a tree, shattering it.
Lightning's eyes slowly opened as she saw Black attack Silver. She reached for her gun and began to fire at Black, "This probably won't do jack..." Lightning yelled out, "but, damn, it feels good!"
Motorin' woke up dazed, with a sharp pain in his head and a ringing in his ears. He couldn't hear anything. Reaching up to his ears, Motorin' felt warm blood seep out. "Oh, that can not be good" He thought. A bright flash of light tore him away from his self-assessment. Flying towards the disturbance, he saw Silver Shield crash through a tree. There wasn't much he could do to fight Black, so he flew Silver out of harms way, hoping the unicorn knew some healing spells.
Black heard the shots ring around her, and turned from her attack on Silver to face Ember. Black Night smirked, "Oh you are foolish my child." and fired a massive black beam at her, slamming into Ember with massive force. She suddenly grabbed her head like she had a massive headache before recovering, "Now, who's next?!"
Lightning hurt all over, but she got up, "I'm still up," She said, with blood on her face, "I'll stop when I'm dead." she fired a few more shots. "Hurry up, Snow!" she yelled.
Black Night laughed, "Stubborn, I like it!" and she charged Ember, bucking her into the sky, and flying up and grabbed her."Let's go for a little flight shall we!" and took off straight up, occasionally wincing from the battle inside her head.
Lightning grabbed the revolver by it's barrel with her wing and began to try and bludgeon Black with the handle.
Grey Mane began to glow. Its time A voice in her head told her. At that her physical form left leaving her spirit paused in time with Perfect Melody. "What do you reccommend Melody?" She looked at her friend hopefull. "In this situation I must say that Stealth would work best. Good luck. Oh Wait!" She shouted! "Use your magic! Use it in conjunction with your... Trinckits..... and thier True power will be released. "Ok" Grey Mane nodded before being transported back into the battle. Her began to glow along with her pendant of speed. At that she was encircling the field with fire, not from the ground like a Changeling, but from her body.
His horn still producing a feeble shield, even after his previous one had broken, Silver slammed into the tree, shattering both it, the second shield, and his leg. He passed out. He came to several seconds later, opening his eyes to see Motorin' setting him down gently on the ground. "Uhnn...what...?" He saw movement behind the pegasus and his attention was drawn to the battle between Lightning and Black. And Lightning was losing. Silver jumped to his hooves, but collapsed on his broken left hind leg. "AAAhhh..." He looked up again. Black Night was flying straight upwards, carrying Lightning with her. Lightning was still making a weak attempt to hurt Black, even after taking two serious hits. That is one tough Pegasus, he thought. Then rage flowed through him. And she's as close to a friend as I've got. Adrenaline pumping, his horn glowed a brilliant silver that lit up the surrounding forest for several hundred feet. He turned his eyes, also now pure silver, onto Black Night. And smiled. He looked, to Motorin', as if he was half confident that he could beat the Alicorn himself, and the other half insane, though those were basically the same thing. He narrowed his eyes at Black. Suddenly, a barrier appeared directly in front of her, and she slammed into it, becoming dazed for a fraction of a second. Silver grinned darkly. She wouldn't get away with anything that easily; he wasn't going down without a fight.
(Oh, c'mon, everpony's doin this "I am now strong enough to actually contest with Black Night.", but since it's daytime, I can't do diddly squat.) Kleft faintly came to and opened his eyes a wee bit. His head was throbbing something awful. He looked towards the battle, but it was hard to focus. 'Perhaps I SHOULDN'T have given here all my strength...' he thought sleepily. Kleft nearly fell back into a dream state, but his willpower wouldn't allow it. He thought of what he could do to continue aiding the battle. Kleft's ego got the best of him and he forced himself to get up. Making a caste out of magic, he was able to stand on his left-foreleg, but running would prove difficult. 'I'll just have to leave them, there's no way I can help in my current condition...' he thought with a pang of guilt. Kleft limped behind a nearby tree and cast a spell to conjure a mirror in front of him to view the battle currently going on just a few meters away. He gasped as he realized what Black Night was planning to do with Lightning.
(No no, my character isn't strong enough to contest with Black. It's just his personality; he doesn't take well to "bullies", even all-powerful ones. He'll just keep going until everyone's safe or he dies. Why d'ya think he's named 'Shield'? He defends other ponies, even when he's obviously outmatched... I'm not out to Mary-Sue...)
Black Night suddenly dived straight down, plunging down with massive speed. Right before Black Night and Lightning slammed into the ground, Black Night pulled out of the dive sharply and flinging Lightning straight into Sheild's new barrier (But she was already passed from the sheer g-force of the dive pullout, so, she won't be feeling it right now.) Black Night stood in the clearing laughing, "What a pitiful group of ponies. I could have easily killed you the moment I laid eyes on I and now, playtime's over." Her horn light up with the darkest, most evil aura and everypony knew, this one was going to be the killing spell. But then, right before she launched it, she suddenly gripped her head as the mother of all headaches set in, soon, light began pouring from ever orifice of her body, until she finally pretty much self destructed in a massive explosion of light. When the group finally recovered their sight, they saw a beaten and bruised Snow Light, "And that my friends, is how you defeat an all powerful alicorn." and then she passed out.
A voice began to emit throughout Grey Mane's mind. Stop now! Grey Mane the battle is over stop the fire! But when you do be warned! There is a... Side effect! Grey Mane grinded to a halt before magically putting out the flames. Then she got the 'Side effect'. The world seemed to spin and before she knew it she was staring at blank space. Even with this going on she acted like she could see. "Well done Snow.... Are.... You ok?"
