(Sorry if I don't post for a long while, my internets down so I won't be posting as much. We have a four day weekend off of school so I won't be on for a long while.) The squad gathered the small group of civvies, also gathering more troops for the long trip into the forest, "Where to sir?" A rookie asked. "We're taking them to Ponyville," The captain of the squad said. Reckoning walked ahead of the group as they entered the tree line, hopefully nopony attacks while they traveled.
Scarlet was at her desk mission reports being teleported in as usual. She sent out the next objectives straight away. Most of the time dealing with either extraction of Intel or incapacitating a high priority target. When it came to hers and the science Corps goal only two squads took the offer Orion and Artemis squad. Waiting for more reports to come in she decided to take a little break from office work and head to the central war room to check on progress.
As Scarlet walked into the war room, Councilman Alternis and Zash were hunched over a map with several location'a marked. "Ah. Lieutenant General Scarlet Conviction. Care to join us in out war planning?"
"Of course Sir." Scarlet quickly saluted as she noticed them and walked over standing opposite the two stallions. "So hows things with the other Corps'. Most of mine are currently running intel extractions in and around the mountains of Canterlot."
Shermane heard the mare awaken and trotted over to the tent, carefully opening the flap as to not show where they were at. "Depends on the unit, and we usually don't but because of your skills and cargo, we've decided to take you." he trotted up and took a seat across the table from her. "So, I'm sure we're not going to anything important out of you but a name a service number. Let's start off with that."
Zash spoke up. "Very good. The First, Second, and Third armies are getting ready to besiege Manehatten. We're also sending an armor column and some air support." Alternis responded. "The air support is not needed. There's nothing to bomb there but civilians and the factories. And remember, we want to keep the factories intact!" Zash made another remark. "But don't we want to lower the morale of the citizens?" "Yes, but not by killing them!" Einheria hopped off the train, and snuck into Ponyville, but not with the other members of Dawnstar as to not arouse suspicion. She started showing pictures of her target, and asking for information, until she finally found out that this assassin was seen around the countryside.
"Im with Alternis on this one. Sending in ground teams of a squad or two to secure the factories would probably be our best bet. By killing civilians and bombing factories and houses through air raids we potentially increase the risk of something I like to call Denotational spirit. A thing that can unite people together after a long struggle. They may have a dip in morale but sooner or later they will come back more determined to fight for the things that they lost. However if we find a way to use this to our advantage."
"Now see, I don't have a service number." She shrugged and leaned back. "Name's another story. Maybe you tell me yours first and we'll go from there?" Starnsy replied as she tugged at the bindings on her hooves. "Manners are important during an interrogation." She said with a smirk.
He raised a brow. "Fair enough. I am Sergent Shermane Vickers, squad lead for Abel Squad, 3rd Platoon, 4th company and so on. Now you. And you should be lucky you're alive right now to begin with after what you did Cpl. Cloud.
Einheria and her unit were sneaking through the tall grasses. She looked ahead. "Is that Brittlevine?" Asked an Einheria's acting lieutenant. Einheria looked through the binoculars. "Seems so. Also... Is that an... Dragon with her?" She turned on her radio. "Dawnstar Unit, Brittlevine is with an Dragon, identity is unknown, and hostility is unconfirmed. Proceed wob caution." She then crawled towards Cari as quietly as she could.
"My name is Starnsy. Starnsy Warnsy. I blow things up and supply the Harmonists with explosives that I make." The green mare sighed. "What a shame we had to meet under these circumstances, Shermane."
Cari's ear twitched. She caught her knife, and turned, looking around, though not keeping her eyes off of Cloudchaser. "Is that why you brought an ambush?" she cried. "Because you wish to be peaceful?"
"You stated that you wished to talk. That is as peaceful as it gets with me." she said, her horn glowing with a creamy white glow.
"You know I don't feel like fighting you and them I have a better idea... hold on." with this Cloudcoat Grabbed the mare and her cat tucking both against his chest then the trio launches into the air.
"I would say likewise but frankly I'm finding it hard not taking out this here service pistol," he said, patting the holster dangling under his right foreleg. "and putting one right in between those eyes of yours. Though, you spilling some info might stay my hoof for a bit. I'm assuming all the explosives we've confiscated is your handy work?"
(Please clarify that, then. " Grabbed the mare and her cat launching onto the air.". I had the view of a dragon throwing a cat and a cursing mare into the air. Laughing so hard right now.)
