not allowing another moment to pass Cloudcoat jumps the mare pinning her to the ground be for lowering his head next to hers speaking in a low voice, "I don't think your in a position to make ordres, nor did I harbor a fugitive, so if you would like we can get up and discus this as civilized being or If you present yourself as a threat I will rip your horn off and be on my way, so what will it be?"
"Damn, they escaped." Reckoning said to himself, disappointed that he didn't get a good fight. Oh well, he at least killed one of them. He looted the body a retrieved his arrow for which he had to put the tip out. He stored the times he could gather in his large pack, and then moved on.
"We don't take too kindly to these kind of threats, you over-grown lizard. But one of us will have to be the bigger... Er, sentient life form." Einheria squeezed herself out of the Dragons's grasp and dusted herself off. "Now, that mare you were with was an skilled assassin who is wanted for the assassination of several important figures. We Anti-Harmonists do believe in a fair trial, so, if you can prove that you had no former association with the criminal, we will set you free."
Standing up now he begins to speak in his normal voice, "If you want to know I have no former associations with anyone. I have just awoken to this war and am trying to find out what is going on. The reason I flew off with her is because I didn't feel like fighting her, and the ambush you had coming instead I chose to see what she knew and avoid you at the time. Now that's my side how about yours if you would be so kind?" He finished gesturing to her.
Einheria checked some reports on dragons... "This checks out... Other Elder Dragons have awaken recently, so that checks out as well... Ok, once we run some processing, you'll be free to go. Terribly sorry for the misunderstanding."
"Oh it's alright, if you can just tell me about this war?" He said tilting his head slightly to the side.
Reckoning made it back to base, but it was abandoned. What... the hell... They couldn't have left, but they did. There was a note, "Dear to whom it may concern: we have moved far East, out of Equestria by we are by now. If there are any Sapphire Dragons still out there, you can use this base as your very home, but do not reveal its location." Reckoning was now pissed, not only did they leave him behind but he wasn't suited to catch up to them. The underground HQ of the SD's were all his now, where to begin...
"Well, when Twilight Sparkle, the holder of the Element of Magic died, we Anti-Harmonists thought we should stop relying on the elements. Celestia disapproved, and the violence started. One day, a child was killed, and Equestria spiraled into Civil War. The war has been raging for a while now, and with no clear victor either." Suddenly, Councilman Alternis' secretary ran into the room. "Liutenant Colonel Einheria, Councilman Alternis has summoned you to the war room for a hearing." "Right!" Einheria turned to Cloudcoat. "I have to go, wait here until your paperwork is done! The whole base was on high alert. All anti-Harmonist radio frequencies were telling all units to report to Appleloosa immediately.
Reckoning was taking inventory in the base, checking the two story armory. Later on he walked outside, looking around, a thought came to mind. Since the Sapphire Dragons moved from Equestria, maybe there was a chance for a recruiting those who would help him create the Equestrian version of the Sapphire Dragons. But where to begin? Thats when it hit Reckoning, the Anit-Harmonists, what if they could join up? Have an actual name besides what they had now, but then again they would betray Reckoning and he would have to kill them all. Then there were Harmonists, all they would do is take the bunker and kick the pony out of it. He would have to look to neutral sources.
Not wanting to be out of the loop any further, Cloudcoat decides to use some of his stronger magic, walking to the corner of the room he began to work with his back to the guards. Biting a small cut to his hand he used his blood to create several rings around his body at his head, arms, legs, tail, and his wings. This would increase the strength of the spell and help it stay with him, after concentrating for a moment to clear his mind he began of the spell to make himself invisible, once finished he activated the spell diapering completely, then knocking out the guards and sealing them in the room before following Einheria to this war room, taking a position against a back wall.
Rune walked across the base from her bunk to the healing center. As she walked, she studied a runic spell in one of her book and mumbled to herself.
Because she wasn't paying attention she ran directly into something. Her book fell to the ground and she on her hindquarters, "oof, Sorry," she apologized quickly. "I wasn't paying attention.
Upon looking up she frowned seeing no one in front of her. She looked around as she stood up. "am I going crazy?" she wondered out loud.
Thinking to himself he decided to have some fun , "perhaps you are." He said taking a step to the side.
Rune screamed and backed up quickly and looked around wildly. "Wh...Who's there?" she stammered her ears flicking from back to front to find any noise to prove that she was not crazy.
Taking a position behind the mare now he says, "if you promise not the scream I will show you who I am."
Rune couldn't help the squeak that escaped her. She tripped over her own hooves as she turned once again trying to find the source of the mysterious voice.
