He walked up there and brushed his teeth, humming the Equestria national anthem three times before stopping and going back downstairs.
"Ok, let 's go." said Eluuna, taking a basket, and passing a thermos of hot chocolate to Shade. She opened the door for him, and started to walk through the snow. They arrived at a small white building, and when they entered, a stallion looked up. "Eluuna! Nice to see ya. Who's this little fellow?" he said cheerfully. "Doctor, Shade. Shade, Doctor." she said by way of introduction. She reached into the basket and pulled out a cake for the doctor. His eyes lit up, and he set the cake on the counter.
Shade looked up to him. "You're a doctor? Cool! Who all have you fixed up?" His voice was full of awe at the stallion.
"Well, I've helped Eluuna here, and..." he looked around as if parting with a great secret. "I also helped one of the wonderbolts." he said softly.
"Spitfire. She fell and I patched her up. Let's take a look at this young Wonderbolt's injuries now, ok?"
Shade's wing was in a cast and his wounds were professionally bandaged. "How am I, Doc? When can I fly again?"
"Leave it for about two days. It will be better then." he said. Eluuna thanked him, and they left. "Shade, how would you like to see a Wonderbolts show?" she said.
Eluuna pulled two tickets, and waved them triumphantly. She put the back in the basket, and started walking to the stadium.
Shade trotted beside her, laughing. "Oh yes! I get to see the Wonderbolts! Ooooh! Maybe I can talk to one. Eluuna, do you think I would be able to talk to any Wonderbolts?" He asked, his eyes shining.
"I don't know, buddy. We'll see." said Eluuna. They got to the arena and sat in the bleachers. She passed Shade a cake.
Shade sat down and ate the cake with some small bites. His eyes were glued to where the Wonderbolts were to come out. He looked up to Eluuna, smiled, and hugged her. "Thank you so much!" He said, his voice full of the kind of gratitude only a little colt could have.
The fanfare started, and the Wonderbolts dashed out, doing amazing arial flips and spins in unison. Shade cheered as loud as any grown stallion in the crowd, a huge smile on his face.
