Roman began to notice ships preparing for a massive assault onto the mainland. Roman turned around and faced the group. "We're going to war, and I'm not going to rest until these vermin are dealt with" (Next post will be at Kalmos)
Isamu had taken the civilian ferry to Kalmos. He planned to meet up with the others at a nearby tavern, then, if possible, they would take the ferry to Jōshi where they would speak to the emperor.
Novi sat on the ledge of the ship, her wings resembling a dragonfly. She reached her hand down, and the water flowed to meet her fingers, slipping around her knuckles. She looked around at the harbor, sighing as she did.
Stepping on the Tanloan ship she headed below deck to claim her room. Just before heading onto the tanloan made ship she grabbed a book about a masked woman vigilante known as the white Lace (think V for Vendetta meets Zorro but wearing white with a black mask). Once she was down in her room she began to read to fill the time till they arrived. Once they did arrive Natalie stepped onto top deck leaving the half read book in her cabin. Once she arrived onto the deck she rushed to the side and vomited. "I've got to put boat stabilisation technology on the list of things to trade with the Tanloans." (@Eluuna thanks for the heads up I kind of thought that Kalmos arrival would be the next post, once Crim had posted his.)
Roman took the Raltun flagship 'Guardian', a six kilometer behemoth to Kalmos, while the rest of the 30,00 strong Tanloanian fleet headed directly for the mainland to set up a forward post for this threat. Because of it's size, Guardian can't be placed in the docks. Instead, it was placed out on the harbor while smaller ships took the main force to the island. It seemed the damage was worse than they expected. The human colony was torn apart and was mostly a wasteland. The capital, Elibel, survived only barely. Roman took a step onto the docks and walked to the center of town.
"Lets just hope at least one council member is still alive. We're going to need all the support we can get." I walk down the gangplank and search around with my eyes trying to find that tavern.
Resting in a small cave, the soldier leaned back as he sat down. He sighed in relief, he had been doing nothing but walking, and four hours of sleep is all he really gets. Most of the time, he is spying on an enemy base, or readying for an assassination. He took out a map and took a look at it, a smirk growing behind his helmet, "Only thirty-two miles left, not bad at all, I'm on time as well." He took out his claymore and a rag, wetting it from the ground water, he began to clean doe of the blood off. He was too lazy to ever clean, but he does make sure to sharpen the blade, making sure it has a great smoothness and a deadly cut to it.
