As far as I have gathered the forum is less then 2 months old, so if we keep around we will get to be the veterans of the forums. I have never gotten to be part of a young forums that grows this fast. I anticipate this place is going to be huge, heck I about 4 or 5 posts a day just saying hello to new members.
<late to the party> I don't think it actually surprises me that you're in your 40's and a total brony. Granted, I'm of the state of mind where age is merely a number, it shouldn't dictate what you are allowed to like and what you shouldn't like. Y'know? And Rainbow Dash is definitely an awesome character! I've actually been dubbed a Rainbow Dash/Pinkie Pie hybrid (hard to imagine, isn't it?). I call that hybrid "Pinkie Dash"... because "Rainbow Pie" just made me extremely hungry. Anyway! My favorite character is definitely Fluttershy - at least out of the mane six, otherwise I have a major Big Macintosh fetish. Well Dwynter, you are older than me, but only by degrees. I am 45 so, we may just be the oldest. DustyKatt is 43 I believe. We shall have to create the Ancient and Wizened Order of Starbeard. Shana Also a Unicorn, leaning heavily to Twilightism.
I'm 36. I don't think 46 is old at all. I still consider myself fairly young. It helps that I look younger than I am and am in great health. I know there are bronies older than 50. I suspect that there are quite a few 70+ that watch and enjoy the show that don't even know it is an internet phenomenon. In time it will spread further and further and have more even amounts of fans of all ages. I've heard now that the average aged fan is currently 21. That sounds about right to me, I think at some point though we will see that average age be around 24 or 25. It will always be lower than the actual average age of people but it is also still a kids show that appeals to people of all ages.
well, he's not on any forum, but I know brony that's 49 year old (my dad). Although, he's not into community, he likes the show.
