A blush swept through Rosy's face, but she shook her head as if to clear it. "Well, thank you, Mr. Heart," she said. "I have my doubts, but thank you." She got out of her bed, rubbing her neck with her hoof. Pale white scars along the back of her neck appeared slightly, a grim reminder of the time with her fiancé. They disappeared as her mane fell back into place and covered them. She walked to the window, and peered out curiously. "Where are we?" she asked, turning to Frozen.
(Ponyville is actually closer than I thought, according to the map lol. Its maybe a day's ride) "We are about halfway through Unicorn range, by my guess," he said, "I can see cloudsdale off in the distance."
(Lol. Okay. That's fine. Since we're probably going to move around a lot, I think the train will be a familiar setting.) "You'd think I'd know that," she said, gesturing to her horn.
He smiled a bit, "I only know it because I travel often." He gazed out the window, "I remember when they first built ponyville, all those years ago. I was there, actually."
"If memory serves me, it began with a land grant given to the apple family by Princess Celestia and Luna. It began as sort of a country town, but slowly evolved and incorporated the styles of other cultures as unicorns and pegasi moved there."
Frozen shook his head again, emphantically, "Ohhh no, no no, that would likely lead to my imprisonment or death."
Rosy nodded. "Good." She turned away from the window. "Should we go look around? I don't know about you, but I did not get a great look when we walked through last night."
She went through the door that opened to a large compartment. The walls were a hearty red, and light streamed in through a window. The train lurched, and Rosy stumbled, grabbing a nearby beam.
