(It's totally up to you, but I can do it if you want. I was thinking that either Rosy ran into Frozen in town, had another incident, or maybe there could be a situation where people are becoming suspicious of Frozen?)

(Alrighty. ) A few days later, when the sky was just beginning to turn dark, Rosy wandered into town, slightly bleary, with a large cut on her cheek and another one on her side. Obviously, some ponies noticed. "Oh Celestia!" one cried. "Did the windigo do this to you?" The other one nudged her companion. "Shut it, Chrissa. There's no such things as windigos." "Says you! But what about all those monsters? You've heard the stories." "Let's just focus on getting her help, okay?" They approached Rosy, but she raised a hoof in the air, and waved it off in a vague direction. "I'm... fine.." she mumbled. Her eyes, normally so bright, were duller, and she slumped against a building. "I... just... I need to find someone.." she said weakly. "I'm.. okay.." The two mares, known as the town gossips, hovered over her like anxious hens as they tried to figure out what to do.
Frozen was beginning to grow a bit anxious. Perhaps he had been a bit too brash as to stick around for as long as he had, yet he couldn't imaginr leaving Rosie alone. Something was going to happen, he could feel it..
Rosy realized, in her dazed state, that she had no idea where Mr. Heart lived. But, he did say that he would be moving from town in a few days. She assumed that he might be in the Ponyville Inn, and she placed a hoof to her face. "Do.. one of you two mares have a kerchief that I might be able to have?" asked Rosy apologetically. "Yes, yes!" they murmured, producing two from a saddlebag. Rosy wrapped them around her cuts, and she thanked the two gratefully. She looked slightly less worrying, and she winced and stood up. She bid the two mares farewell, and limped towards the inn.
So as to not draw suspicion, Frozen was sitting in the dining area of the ponyvillecinn, busily reading a book in Chigneighse. Internally, he wondered why he sisn't just go back to Chineigh. Frozen sighed a bit, if only..
Rosy entered the inn, and spoke briefly to the innkeeper. He knew her. Occasionally, when the situation got dire, Rosy would have to stay in the inn for a couple of days. "Please, Max, I need to find Mr. Heart. Do you know where he is?" she asked pleadingly. "I'm sorry, Rosy, but you know I can't answer specifics on anypony." He shook his head, clearly regretful. Suddenly, an idea sparked to mind. "Rosy," he said cunningly, "before you go, you should go try the buffet. We've added some new items." Rosy shook her head, and opened her mouth to speak. "I'm not very hung-" "Just.. go to the dining hall." he said, gesturing with his head.
Frozen looked up, from his book, only to see Rosy entering the dining hall. He set the book down and waved her over to him.
Rosy saw Frozen, and her shoulders slumped in relief. She hurried over to him. "Mr. Heart. Hi. I'm so sorry about this, but you told me to meet you if something happened, and.." she said, trailing off. She was still rather dazed. She had pulled her hair over one of the kerchiefs, but it was a strange contrast with her grey fur, and she tugged on her mane to try to obscure it more. "Well, some things happened."
"Rosy..please, please, sit down," he said as he eased her into the seat across from him, "What happened?"
"Well.." she started, her eyes zeroing out. "I mean.." She placed her hooves to her face in defeat. "I knocked him out.." she whispered.
"With a baseball bat. He.. He swiped me with a knife, and he...threatened to kill me." She shook her head in disgust with herself. "I'm so sorry. I just didn't know what to do." Despite everything, Rosy didn't seem that scared. Resigned was probably more apt.
He touched a hoof to her shoulder, his touch was ever so slightly cold. "You did what you had to.." he said comfortingly, "Its okay!"
Rosy shook her head. "It's not, though. I promised myself that I would never hit him. Ever." She noticed the cold hoof, and thought for a few seconds. "Mr. Heart, do you believe in windigos?"
Frozen's hoof recoiled, it was all he could do to hide the look of shock and fear that tried to bleed across his face. "That's an..interesting question. Why?"
"Some ladies were talking about it outside. Apparently, there are rumors. One of them speculated that maybe a windigo had done this to me." she said, gesturing to her two large cuts. She rested her chin on two hooves, and looked up at Frozen with piercing blue eyes. "What do you believe?"
"Fairytales mostly," he said, his conposure slightly regained, "But a windigo, if it did exist, wouldn't directly harm you. They feed on pain and suffering, and are creatures of winter. They can conjure up terrible winter storms to cause suffering. They feed on this like emotional vampires."
