"As always," Rosy said, giving him a small smile. They entered the castle, and ran directly into the Princess Celestia. "Oh, there you are," she said absently. "Frozen, we need to go over the plans for the meeting in Chineigh."
Celestia quickly regained her composure. "Well, regardless, you are being summoned right away. Another one of the ambassadors disappeared. Chineigh has declared war."
"A few hours," Rosy said, nodding. Celestia turned, and walked down the hallway, clearly expecting Frozen to follow.
They entered the war room, various maps adorning the walls. Two suits of armor, one bright gold, the other a dark silver, lay on mannequins. Celestia ignored these, however, and focused on a long roll of parchment on the table. "It's a declaration of war," Celestia said, angrily looking anywhere but the slip of paper on the table. Rosy watched her husband leave until they turned a corner and left. With a small sigh, she turned and found herself face to face with a guard. "Ms. Donner, you're going to have to come with me." "Am I in trouble?" Rosy asked, concerned. "No, nothing like that. It's just that some of the royal gardeners have some questions about the flowers." Relaxing, Rosy followed the guard, going through various turns in the castle. They arrived at a large set of doors and the guard turned to her, a grim look on his face. "What's.." Rosy began, when she was suddenly cut off by a sharp pain in her side. She turned just in time to see another guard, almost identical to the first one, administering the last drop of a clear, vaguely sweet smelling liquid from a syringe into her bloodstream. She opened her mouth to cry out, but the darkness rushed in far too quickly , and as she fell towards the floor, her last thought was of Frozen. "Such bad timing we seem to have," she thought idly as she slipped into unconsciousness.
Frozen couldn't help but feel a twinge of pain in his gut, and it made him uneasy, but he kept his silence and waited for the princess.
"We still wish for peace, of course, but if the war does go through, then we are looking at some dark times indeed." Celestia said. "Chineigh has one of the most established military in the world. We are looking at many lives lost, here."
"No," Celestia said, shaking her head. "I fear the worst. If we cannot find them soon, we will have to abandon efforts."
"There lies the trouble," Celestia said, "You remember our discussion of worrying whether this was a multinational problem?"
"Well, if our fears were confirmed, the ambassadors might not even be in Equestria. The could be in Prance, Chineigh, Saddle Arabia.." Celestia trailed off.
