(For a while it was pretty fun, I think it was mainly a way to meet friends and get out of having to take gym class lol) Frozen rose and escorted the made outside. The pair began to walk towards the edge of the forest and in the direction of her former fiancee's cottage.
"The truth is, I don't think Ed is going to give up easily.." said Rosy, slightly nervous. "I mean, he's a very proud stallion." (Haha! I made some of my best friends in orchestra.)
"Well," Frozen said, "We'll just have to see." Frozen motioned for her to open the door, intending to follow. (You said you play string yes?)
(Yeah. Have for about... 9 years now.) Rosy took a deep breath, and opened the door. The hallway was empty, but muffled sobbing could be heard from the dining room. "That's.. That's Ed.." she whispered to Frozen, trying not to be heard.
(Hah. Nah, it's just a really big part of my family. I aim to be as good as her, though!) "I do think he loves me, in his own way." Rosy whispered after a moment. "But that doesn't... nothing has changed." she said, her ears turned down. "Come on, the bag is upstairs. Watch your step, the 5th stair is squeaky."
(Best of luck to you then!) Frozen silently followed Rosy as they headed upstairs. Just to be doubly certain he didn't hit the fifth step, he floated up the stairs and landed at the top, behind her.
(Thanks! ) "It's in the bedroom." she said quietly. They crept in, and it was obvious that while one side had been slept in fairly recently, the other was almost dusty with lack of use. "It's in the very back of the closet." she said, opening the door. She pulled out a tan saddlebag, and she placed it over her back. "There. We can leave now." she mumbled, slightly melancholy.
"It's not your fault." she said, shrugging. "Plus, you're saving me from a bad situation. This is a good thing. But let's go before Ed stops crying."
As they walked, Frozen slipped a comfortingly around her. He felt really bad for this poor mare. She was really quite..beautiful, in spite of her scars and bruises.
Rosy's thin frame stiffened when Frozen slipped an arm around her, but she quickly relaxed. They walked down in silence, and when they got to the door, Rosy suddenly realized why that was wrong. Ed's sobs no longer wracked the house. "Mr. Heart..." she whispered tremulously, opening the door slowly, "Be careful. We don't know where Ed is.."
Frozen's eyes turned their usual silver as he released the mare from his grasp. He walked quietly alongside her, keeping an eye out for Ed.
"Rosy." said a sad voice behind the two. "Rosy, my darling, are you leaving me?" They turned to see Ed. His fur around his eyes was damp from his tears, and he sighed. "And with another stallion too. Rosy, please." he said, pleading. "You know I'll never stop looking."
Ed turned to Frozen sharply. "You have no say in this. I don't know who you are, but Rosy is my fiance. It's not up to you" he hissed. "Ed, please stop. I'm leaving. I can't live like this anymore." said Rosy, stepping closer to Frozen.
The air in the room grew colder as Frozen's eyes returned to silver, "She's made her say," said Frozen, "Now we are leaving, and you'd be wise not to try and stop us."
"Ro, you think he's going to love you like I did? No one ever could replace that." said Ed. Rosy shook her head. "Ed, it's not like that. I just can't do this anymore." She turned to Frozen. "Let's go." she said to him.
