They hurried out of the door, and had almost gotten to the forest when they heard a scream of misery come from the house. Rosy flinched as the sound vibrated through her ears, but they continued.
"Why are you sorry?" asked Rosy, somewhat numbly. "You saved me. I would never have been able to do this on my own." She shook her head like she was shaking off the unsavory thoughts. "Where would you like to go now?"
"Ponyville..." mused Rosy. "Yeah, that sounds lovely." She looked at him. "Do you have any luggage, or anything?"
"Nothing but my cloak and the items in my saddlebag really," he said, "I don't really require to eat normal food, nor do I really keep many luxury items. I'm accustomed to moving around a lot."
"Is there anything else we need to do before we depart, then?" she asked, pulling her cloak closer to her thin frame.
Frozen shook his head, "Not truly, I think we have everything we need. We'll need to purchase tickets, ponyville is on the other side of the country, so it will take a long time to get there. We will likely have to change trains several times on our trip."
"Alright, then." said Rosy. "Should we head to the station? It is getting a little dark, but I'm fine with whatever."
"Well.. I don't really see any other option," she said, "Even if Ed weren't in the picture. Didn't you say that the townsponies were getting slightly suspicious?"
"That's true," he said, with a sigh, "Much as I wish it wasn't so. I've acted more suspiciously than usual and must leave earlier than I thought." He stopped and studied her, "Ed was pretty foolish y'know? You're somepony special to see me for who I am and not what."
Rosy blushed deeply, and ducked her head at the compliment. "T-thank you, Mr. Heart." she said quietly. "Though, to be fair, I don't believe Ed wanted it to end like this anymore than I did."
She laughed lightly, but it sounded like a sigh. "You've helped me more than anyone has in my entire life. Do not worry."
They stood there with their hooves touching for few moments. Rosy's hoof was warm, but it felt like they could shatter easily. She could sense that he was still worried, so she looked up at him. Her eyes almost matched Frozen's pony form's, except for a slight touch of purple surrounding the pupil. "Honestly, Mr. Heart, you don't need to worry. I will be okay in this situation. It could have ended a lot worse."
Frozen nodded gently, before delicately releasing her hoof. "Very well Rosy, let's not idle any longer. We must catch our train." Frozen lead them to the station, which was luckily still in operation at this hour, and he purchased them tickets to the furthest town.
They got on the train, and found a pair of seats. "Any idea how long the ride is?" asked Rosy, settling into her seat.
"From what they are telling me it's three days," he said, "Ponyville is on the other side of equestria."
