"Wow.." she said, trailing off, thinking to herself. 'Isn't it strange to think that the engineers make this drive twice a week?" she said thoughtfully.
"True." she said, "But the engineers as a group make this trip twice a week. Like, for me, this is going to be the farthest I've been away from home. For these ponies, this is just any other day."
(cookie points if you get the anime reference) "The sky's the sky wherever you go, and ponies are ponies," he said gently, "things aren't much different in Chineigh or Saddle Arabia; different language, that's all."
(crawls off to internet. finds title of anime. watches first episode. receives cookie for watching ninja scroll) "I suppose." she said, rubbing her eyes tiredly. "If you can have a mindset like that, I suppose you'd never get homesick."
P) Rosy sensed that he was sad, so she patted his shoulder gently. "Don't give up. Maybe you can find a place to settle down in."
"Yes," he sais, looking doqn at his hooves as they walked, "I also plan to sneak into the ruined castle of the two sisters, hoping their library has the information I need to help me end my curse."
"It is," he said, "which is why I have to be discreet and careful. She would be able to sense my presence and, not understanding my true nature or intentions, would try to kill me."
"Perhaps I am being a bit extreme," he said, "nopony has ever seen one of my kind, save for you of course."
They arrived at the area where they would be sleeping for the duration of their trip. "I'd hope that the Princess of Friendship is open minded, even without the current situation." replied Rosy. She gestured to the beds. "Which one would you like?"
"Alright then." she said, taking the one on the left. She placed her saddlebag down carefully on the mattress. A nearby window glowed with moonlight, and she watched it, for a moment, entranced. She shook her head to regain her senses, and continued unpacking.
"Yeah." she said quietly. "There would be nights when I couldn't sleep. Generally, it was because I was afraid. The moon always brought me comfort for some reason."
