She stood, brushing herself off. “We need to get out of town,” she said, looking around for a moment. “He said to not take the train... he must think we can be tracked if we go that way.”
They emerged from the woods and Alyssa exhaled slightly. "Okay. So. We just gotta... where are you guys from?"
She sighed, running her fingers through her hair in a way that would be similar to Ferris. "Okay. Okay. We're going to try and get to the next town over and get to an inn."
A couple of days had passed. Alyssa had proven to be a good traveling partner, if not a little stern. She seemed to share Ferris' gentleness, but he seemed to be more charming and outspoken where she was intelligent and introspective. They had managed to get out and had hitchhiked about 100 miles in the few days. At this moment, they were in a hotel room for the night. Alyssa was sitting on her bed, flipping through the TV channels.
"About... Ferris?" As she flipped, Fleur would see Ferris' face on one of the channels. It was gone within an instant as Alyssa flipped through, looking at her.
