“No, I’m sorry,” he said immediately. “I didn’t mean it like that. You just... you look...” He paused, going silent as a confused look crossed his face.
He looked confused, studying her. “Why do I know that when your eyebrows form that dimple that you’re upset?” he mused. “Why do I know that?”
He shook his head, still studying her. “No, I don’t,” he told her honestly. “I don’t know who you are.”
"You remember something," she said, standing up and approaching him. "You stole my necklace. That's how we met."
She showed him the necklace around her neck. "Yeah. So I cast a spell that kept you close by until you gave it back."
