One, Two, Three (The Roleplay)

He looked back at her, raising an eyebrow.

"He's the mayor. He's probably the easiest person to find in this town."

 

He looked over at the woman, speaking clearly.

“Where might we find the mayor’s house?”

She scoffed before pointing down the street.

“The nicest place on the block. You can’t miss it.0

 

He raised an eyebrow before gesturing for her to lead the way.

“Thanks for your help,” he said to the woman, who grumbled before returning to the bar.

 

“Yeah,” he said in relief. “And then we can go our separate ways.”

 

They walked down the street.

“This kind of thing makes you happy,” he said, looking over at her.

 

“You get a kick out of solving mysteries,” he said with a shrug. “Were you bored before?”

 

His face fell and he was quiet as he looked ahead.

“Well, it will be over soon.”

 

He fell silent after that as they walked down the street, his head bowed.

 

He looked over at her in surprise, his brows furrowed.

“What do you mean? One of your dances?”

 

He looked noticeably confused, tilting his head.

"You want me to come to one of your dances?"
