He grinned, pulling the blanket to his shoulders as he watched her. "I don't want to be gross, but... God, Fleur. You're so pretty."
His face was soft, but he turned onto his back, resting his head on her shoulder gently. "I love you."
She kissed the top of his head. "I love you too. Think you think you could pass me one of your shirts? I'm gonna go get a snack."
His laughter was low and he scooted away from her, leaning over the edge of the bed to retrieve his shirt from the floor. When he did so, she would see scars all along his back, intersecting each other.
He froze for a moment in surprise before looking over his shoulder at her, offering his shirt. "What are you doing?"
His face softened and he leaned over, kissing her cheek gently. "You can touch me, Fleur. I just didn't expect it."
She gave him a small grin before going downstairs, grabbing a snack. He would hear shuffling and then a small yelp. "Ferris!"
