He frowned, crossing his arms. "Maybe you two should come in..." he said, opening the door wider for them.
Ferris followed her and the man closed the door behind him, gesturing for them to follow. "Can you describe the necklace for me?"
She nodded. "It's small and gold, and looks a bit like a locket. There are leaves and flower patterns on it."
He scoffed, looking back at them for a moment. "I see. Yes, I bought the necklace in Sylvaele." "At the Night Market?" Ferris questioned. The man's eyes narrowed and he paused before speaking. "I don't remember," he said icily. "But I'm afraid I can't help you resolve this. The necklace was stolen from me the day after I bought it."
"I was there when she took it," he said flatly. "Young woman, but she had bright pink hair. Green eyes. She stole it... what, three days ago?"
He looked annoyed, raising one eyebrow. "Yes, well... I would ask that when you find it, it is returned to me. I paid handsomely for it."
"God, screw thieves, am I right?" he said, playfully throwing his arm over her shoulder. "They just ruin everything."
She rolled her eyes, laughing slightly. "It's suprising. But with pink hair, she shouldn't be hard to find."
