"You don't have to apologize," she said standing up and stretching as she slunk to the door before pursing her lips nonchalantly. "And also, I cleaned your house."
He followed her, his brow furrowed in confusion. He went out to the landing and saw the clean apartment and he squinted at her. “You’re unbelievable.”
He sighed, coming up behind her and wrapping his arms around her waist, burying his face in her shoulder. “You make everything better.”
He stayed like that for a while, clearly relishing her proximity. “Can I tell you something really embarrassing?”
"I was at the store the other day, and I thought I saw you at the end of the aisle," he admitted. "It looked just like you. But we were still fighting, and so I just watched this other you for a long time. I guess she noticed that I was staring, because she came up and asked for my number."
"What's sad is that I never got to really flirt with you like that," she teased, pulling away and leaning on the counter smoothly as she gave him an overly charming grin and wink. "Hey, baby. Can I get those digits?"
He burst into laughter, kissing her forehead gently. "I would have run away if you had flirted like that," he told her gently. "Please do more."
"Well, now it's working, now that I'm in love with you and have missed you terribly. Please do more."
She tapped her chin thoughtfully, pursing her lips before nodding and striking fingerguns. "Hey handsome, did it hurt when you fell from Heaven?"
