The food was actually really nice. It tasted super comforting, and she could imagine having it on a rainy day.
"You made a good choice," she corrected. "This was a surprise for me." She laughed a little, brushing her hair back self consciously. "You know, I always think that I love you as much as I can, but every day it feels like I still continue to fall more and more in love."
He laughed, shaking his head before leaning forward and kissing her gently, his hand cupping her jaw.
She leaned forward as well to meet him across the table. After a moment she pulled away, watching him gently. "I do love you."
He wiped her lipstick from his mouth with his thumb, leaning back as he returned in his seat. "Do you want to walk along the water with me after this? Are you tired?"
