They continued down the street and despite his confident words, Ferris seemed to be a little nervous. "Okay. Well. This is going to be fine. In and out."
"It's going to be great," he agreed as they approached a large, stone building. It almost looked like a warehouse, although the top floor had an ornate terrace with tastefully positioned ivy and lights.
"You don't seem to see this as it actually is," he said playfully, taking her arm gently and pulling her around to the side of the building. "An adventure."
He got to the side and looked up at the windows, looking around before looking over at her. "Are you good at climbing?"
He followed her up, glancing down occasionally. "When we get in there, Fleur, it's really important you listen to exactly what I say, okay?"
He fell silent, almost as if he were surprised by her response. They got to the fourth floor up and Ferris stopped, glancing in one of the windows. "Okay," he said quietly. "This one." He opened it slowly before entering, waiting for her.
