"God, I love you," he said playfully, leaning against the counter. "Okay. She lives a couple of hours away?"
He raised an eyebrow, folding his arms. "You saw my home, Princess, and it has probably been burned to the ground."
She looked thoughtful before her eyes got that excited shine again and she placed her hands on his shoulders. "Okay. You put together the snacks! I'll be right back." With that she went back to her room, going to pack.
It took her a bit. He would hear the door open, a bit more shuffling, and then she returned with two bags.
He frowned, tilting his head curiously. A small smirk appeared on his face. "You just happened to have a lot of men's clothes around?"
