"The eggs are burnt, aren't they?" Alyona asked, standing up and taking Fleur's plate. "I will get you new eggs, sweet girl..."
Alyona opened her mouth to complain, but Ferris spoke up. "I'd imagine she's probably feeling overwhelmed, Ma'am. Fleur, are you still tired?"
Fleur went quiet, her arms dropping before she slowly nodded, sitting down hesitantly. "Yes, you're right. I apologize, Ferris. I.. forgot my manners, it seems."
Ferris was watching her curiously, tilting his head. He said nothing for a moment before giving her a smirk. "It seems. Luckily for you, I've forgotten my manners more times than I can count around you, so we'll call it even."
He tilted his head even more, looking playful as Alyona stood up. "Vell... I am going out to garden. The roses are growing."
