"My problem?" she asked, waiting for Alyona to be out of earshot before standing up and taking her plate, "I don't have a problem, Ferris. I'm just.." she sighed, her shoulders dropping. "I'm just tired." She went to take her plate to the kitchen, frowning slightly.
He took his plate and followed her, also frowning. "No, you clearly do have a problem," he said, looking irritated. "So tell me what it is so we can resolve it."
She put the dish in the sink and then turned to him. "You just insist on making things harder for me."
"Is this about the cafe thing?" he asked, crossing his arms. "I thought it was funny, I'm sorry. I didn't think it would make you this pissed off."
She stood at the sink for a moment, looking back at him with a frown. Her expression softened slightly and she sighed. "You're perfect. I'm just overreacting and maybe a bit overwhelmed. I'm sorry."
He brightened, reaching out and ruffling her hair gently. "I should have known to back off. I'm sorry too."
She went back to her room, shutting the door behind her. She leaned against it for a moment before resting her hands on her head. "Of course not. If course it wouldn't work."
