"I'm serious," he said gently. "You're wonderful."
Her blush deepened. "I know you are."
He laughed slightly. "Aren't you tired?"
She sighed. "Sort of."
He settled back down next to her. "Sleep for a bit, Fleur."
She nodded, shutting her eyes and resting her head on his chest.
He kissed the top of her head, falling silent as he closed his eyes.
She fell asleep rather quickly, hugging him.
He watched her for a moment before standing up, heading for the door.
She didn't wake, staying asleep.
He left the room, closing the door behind him.

Fleur woke the next morning, sitting up and looking around before going out into the main room.
Ferris was cooking breakfast and he brightened when he saw her. "Hi!"
She relaxed, coming out. "Hey."
He opened one arm to her, stirring the eggs on the stove. "How'd you sleep?"
She went to him, wrapping her arm around his waist. "Good. What about you?"
"Alright," he said, kissing the top of her head. "You hungry?"
She nodded, burying her face in his shirt. "Yeah. I was worried yesterday was a dream."
