Apparently I seem to be the only Persona series fan on this board. I take pride in that. I guess? THIS GAME IS GOING TO BE AMAZING. I JUST KNOW IT. Unfortunately, very little is known about it. It was announced last year over a livestream with a trailer. The most recent thing to come out about it was a trailer that was shown before/during E3 this year where they also announced a PS4 version with the original announcement of it being on the PS3. Well, considering that Persona 4 was the funniest game ever (aside from skate 3), I'd say that this one will be even better.
Here's hoping they return to the dark and edgy feeling of SMT and Persona 3. Persona 4 was a better 'game' than P3, but P3 was a better experience.
We'll see. I liked both games equally but that's just me. From what I've read about the game, it seems to be about how their trapped by the "chains" of society (hence the ball-and-chains obviously) and they are struggling to break free from those chains. The trailer doesn't really tell us much except that it's going to take place in a big city, which is quite the stark difference considering that P3 and P4 weren't in big cities. I guess P1 & P2 were but I'm not sure if that counts. lol.

Spoiler Delays are BS, but, complaining isn't really going to do me any good. However... It's now IMPOSSIBLE for me to choose Game of the Year 2016 (for me anyway) Persona 5 or Final Fantasy XV? I CAN'T CHOOSE JUST ONE.
I was feeling pretty meh about the whole thing then I got a glimpse of the battle results screen It's just oozing style and flair. I love it, I'm so in.
Spoiler Welp... this is an impossible choice for my 2016 Game of the Year now. I CAN'T CHOOSE BETWEEN THIS AND FINAL FANTASY XV. I JUST CAN'T. Well... admittedly 9/15/16 is just the Japanese release date but I'm still hopeful that the U.S. release will be 2016 as well. Maybe they'll reveal the U.S. release date at E3?

Spoiler Negotiations from the first 2 Persona games are back. THAT MORGANA ENGLISH DUB VOICE ACTOR. SO PERFECT. Well... I think so anyway. If there's one thing Atlus USA does right... it's choosing english dub voice actors.
In case anyone cares... The OST is out. The battle theme was on YouTube but it's gone now. I listened to it before it was removed and it's FREAKING AMAZING. I wish I could share it with all of you... Freaking Atlus...

So... I'm seeing A LOT of stuff related to this in thumbnails on YouTube videos. I've heard it got great reviews too. Don't tell me this game is actually better than FFXV?! Well... I guess I'll find out when I play it. Eventually. I've got too many games to play on my plate right now so it'll be quite a long time before I get to it. Which is fine because I need a walkthrough for it anyway. And here I thought the favorite for FFXV vs Persona 5 was FFXV. I mean... for me... it's still FFXV from what I've experienced in it so far. But, obviously, I've yet to play Persona 5 so that may change. I still would prefer FFXV and Persona 5 to be friends and not fight.
