"Why would you make me fall in love with you if you hate me?"
"I don't know. You tell me."
She turned away from him, petting the cat.
He sighed, sitting on the edge of the bed.
She didn't looked at him, her hair covering her face.
He rubbed her back slowly. "What are you thinking?"
"I'm thinking that you like me less."
"I'm thinking that you like that kitten more than me."
"I'm sure you feel the same way, at this point."
"You don't like me that much."
"Oh, stop that."
