She nodded slowly, gently covering Oliver with the blanket and sitting up carefully.
He put his hand on her back, a frown on his face.
She went to stand, holding his arm.
He helped her up slowly and carefully.
She winced at first, but kept tight grip.
"You're doing so well," he murmured.
She looked up at him, her eyes gentle. "Thank you for helping me."
He laughed slightly. "Of course. Where else would I go?"
She shrugged. "Off to catch a shark with your bare hands?"
"Ooh. You're right."
"But you're helping me instead. So thank you."
"Of course."
She stumbled slightly, her eyes widening.
He caught her immediately, his hands gentle.
She took a breath, relaxing. "Thanks."
"Of course," he said with a grin. "I have practice."
She sighed, holding her ground again.
"You're doing well."
She kissed his cheek playfully. "Thank you, kind gentleman."
"Are you referring to me?"
