She stuck her tongue out at it. "What are you gonna do about it?"
He studied her before kissing her lightly, his hand in her hair.
She smiled against his lips, quieting.
They stopped moving and he pulled away, his eyebrow raised. “That.”
"Well.. It worked."
He smirked slightly, kissing her cheek. “I’m aware.”
She pushed him away playfully. "Do I talk that much, Curnow?"
He pouted, reaching for her. "I like it!"
She turned away. "Supposedly not."
"Please don't leave me here."
She turned to him, a playfully grin on her face. "Fine."
He grinned, kissing the tip of her nose. "Thank you."
She took a few steps back. "If you can catch me, that is."
"Are you challenging your partner who broke both of his legs to a race?"
She nodded. "Precisely. Besides, they don't look that broken anymore."
"But they were broken."
"But they aren't anymore."
"You don't know that."
"Don't I?
“Nope.”
