She pulled away slowly. "Should we put them to bed?"
He started in surprise, looking down at her. "Oh, you're awake."
She nodded slowly. "So are you."
"Yeah, but I've been awake. No surprise there."
"Still."
"Yeah. Let's take them to their beds."
She nodded, picking Sawyer up gently.
He picked up Aubrey and they headed for their room.
She put Sawyer in his crib, her eyes adoring.
JAck joined her, putting Aubrey in hers as well.
She tucked him in before heading for the door.
He followed her, closing the door behind them.
She returned to the living room and was quiet for a moment before turning to him.
He appeared to be in thought, but frowned when she turned. "What?"
She grinned at him, jumping and wrapping her arms and legs around him.
He blinked in surprise, holding her steady, staggering slightly. "Whoa!"
She looked up at him with a wide grin. "I love you!"
He laughed slightly in surprise, one brow raised. "I love you too!"
The grin remained but her voice quieted. "Our kids are in the other room."
"They are," he agreed, kissing her forehead. "Our two kids."
