She looked uncertain. "I'm sorry."
“Let’s just go back to the cuddling, okay?”
She nodded, burying her face in his chest.
He kissed her hair, rubbing her back slowly.
"I love you."
He blinked before grinning. “I love you too.”
She looked up at him, her eyes thoughtful.
He frowned. “What is it?”
She shrugged. "Nothing."
“You have your thinking face on.”
"I'm thinking about life."
"Life? What about life?"
"It's pretty good."
His face split into a smile. "It is, isn't it?"
She nodded. "It really is."
"We've made a life together."
"And it's pretty great."
"It's great," he agreed, brushing her hair back.
She gave him a soft kiss before relaxing again.
He buried his face in her neck, his hands resting against her back.
