She glanced back at him for just a moment. She looked tired and maybe a bit unhappy. "Glad you're back."
He studied her for a moment before shaking his head. "You should get to bed. I'll take care of them."
"I can do it," he said, a little edge to his voice. "You've been working with them for the last couple of hours."
He frowned at her before shaking his head, pulling out a few pineapples and setting them in the fruit bowl. "Fine. But after that, you go to bed."
She turned her head slightly, noticing the pineapples before she sighed and her voice softened. "Okay. I will."
She frowned again, feeling badly. It didn't take them long to finish before she stood up. "All done," she said quietly, glancing up at him before heading into the bedroom.
