"Sawwer, issokay," she would hear Aubrey say to him. "Issokay." Jack stirred, his eyes fluttering open."
He poked his head out a few minutes later, considering her before taking the babies into his and Avice's bedroom. He returned a moment later, coming to her and picking her up gently.
"There's not enough room on the couch," he told her, bringing her into the bedroom where Aubrey and Sawyer were on the bed.
