She brushed his hair back. "Oh, shush."
"Look at me," he groaned, stretching out. "I'm in Hell."
She gave him a quick kiss before returning to the kitchen. "You just want attention."
"Is that a problem? Wanting my wife's attention?"
She laughed. "Not at all. In fact, I quite like you wanting my attention."
“Well, that’s good. I’m always gonna want your attention.”
She chuckled. "You're cute."
“Good, yes. More of that, please.”
"Oh, really?"
“Mm. Really.”
"I'm still not gonna show you yet."
“Stay with me! Stay here!”
"I have to finish it."
He groaned, flopping his head back.
She chuckled, her laugh bright.
“Go do your secret stuff. I’ll just be here. Dying.”
"Hm. Fine."
“You can just leave me to die. I don’t mind.”
"You'll be just fine."
“Dead. I’ll be just dead.”
