She pursed her lips. "You don't have to."
“It’s okay. I’m badass.”
"That's true, but do you know how to make pie?"
“My mother made it a lot.”
"Would you like to help?"
“Sure. Tell me what to do.”
She nodded slowly. "We have to flatten this dough out."
“I can do that.”
She kissed his cheek. "Great. I'll start the other thing."
"Perfect."
She nodded, her eyes bright.
He glanced at her with a wry smile before beginning to work, his back to her.
She began working as well, her head cocked.
He hummed under his breath.
She glanced at him with a small smile before continuing.
Sawyer reached for Jack's hair and he raised an eyebrow, planting a quick kiss on his forehead.
She chuckled, her eyes warm.
He glanced back in surprise, coming over and kissing the back of her neck.
She turned her head, raising an eyebrow.
He gave her a small grin. "Sorry. I got distracted."
