"It can't just be one word," she decided. "More like a bunch put together. Amazing, fantastic, lovely, gorgeous, ethereal. You know, that stuff."
"I think you are," he said, kissing her nose. "But there's also no shortage of adjectives I could think to use to describe you."
"Well," he said dragging out the word. "I think you're beautiful. I think you're deadly smart. You're funny. You're brave. You're strong but empathetic. You're joyful and optimistic, and passionate, but you're also thoughtful and poised."
She blushed slightly, looking at the ground. "Thanks," she said slowly, unsure how to respond correctly.
She took one of the blankets and threw it over his head. "If I can't see you, I don't have to admit anything."
"Your logic is soundproof, babe," he said, rolling his eyes before pulling the sheet off of her. "Unfortunately, you can see me."
