He watched her for a moment before shrugging sympathetically. "Don't worry, Ms. Rohesia. I'm sure we can work something out."
He led her to a room towards the front of the ship, turning the doorknob with thin but calloused fingers. "This one's yours." The room was simple, with a cot next to a window with a blanket folded on top of it. There was a desk to the side and a chest and the room was freshly sweeped.
"That's good," he said, gesturing to the desk. "You have your lamp, but it needs to be turned off before you fall asleep. Fire hazard, and all that. The door locks from the inside, but we don't have many thieves on this ship. Not ones that you need to worry about, anyway."
He nodded, pulling away from the door. "I'm glad you think so. Do you want to settle in, or are you ready for the rest of the tour?"
He slipped his hands into his pockets and stepped out into the hallway, his dark hair flopping over his eyes as he looked down at the ground.
He looked up at her, one brow raised before he reached forward, his hand slipping past her to close the door before he moved down the hallway. "We have several different stations here that you'll be trying," he said, glancing back at her.
